Shotcrete

Shotcrete (or gunite) is a concrete that is pneumatically placed in layers usually from 1 in. to 2 in. thick. Water is mechanically added to the dry mixture at the nozzle that shoots the freshly mixed concrete (really a mortar) at the surface prepared for its reception.
